Doris Mae (Wolfe) Geib

Doris Mae (Wolfe) Geib, 80, of Lebanon, passed away with family by her side on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Manor Care, Lebanon. She was born Friday, April 21, 1933 in Lebanon to the late Robert and Esther (Davis) Wolfe. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Robert J. Geib.
She is survived 3 sons, Christ L. Geib and wife Sandra, Daniel D. Geib and wife Joan, and John R. Geib; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Robert and Richared Wolfe; and a sister, Jean Boyer. She was predeceased by 6 siblings.
Doris faithfully attended Midway Church of the Brethren. She was passionate about baking pies and was employed by both Esther’s and Cosy Cottage as their pie baker. She was an avid fisher and traveled extensively with her husband often fishing on their travels. Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 12th at 10 AM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078 with Rev. Charles Ilyes officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 9 AM until time of the services. Burial will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Alzheimer’s Association, 237 Court St., Reading, PA 19601.
