Doris J. "Topper" Boyer

Doris J. “Topper” Boyer, 93, of Middletown passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late George R. and Catherine (Burkett) Shipper.

Topper will be fondly remembered as a people person. She was socially outgoing and loved to sit and drink countless cups of coffee while chatting with friends. She took pride in her appearance, always wearing a nice outfit with a matching jewelry set and handbag. Topper also enjoyed collecting antiques.

She is survived by two children, Beth Anne DeMarco and Gregg Boyer, and granddaughter Jessica DeMarco. She was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher DeMarco, and four siblings: Anna Garretson, Alice Feigle, Patricia Bower, and George Shipper, Jr.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Middletown Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fager-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Middletown, PA. 717-944-741
