Donna L. (Gish) Teter

Donna Lynn (Gish) Teter, 63, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Masonic Village Elizabethtown.  She was born Thursday, August 2, 1951 in Hershey to the late Donald C. and Evelyn M. (Habecker) Gish.  She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Gary E. Teter.

She graduated from Hershey High School in 1969 and Lebanon Valley College in 1973, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology and music.  She worked for Hershey Foods in marketing and later became a financial advisor for PNC Bank.  She was a talented musician, lending her gift as a viola player to the LVC concert choir.  She had an affinity for the beauty of nature and enjoyed hiking, bike riding, gardening, bird watching and water skiing.  Most of all she was a loving wife, mother and friend who will be dearly missed.

She is also survived by a son, Brandon S. Teter and wife Jessica of Atlanta, GA; a daughter, Shara M. Teter and significant other Katy Brown of Pompano Beach, FL; a brother, Brian Gish and wife Barbara of Falls Church, VA; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 27th at 11:00 AM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Pastor Gary S. George officiating.  Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.  Family and friends are invited for viewing on Monday, January 26th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and from 10:00 AM until time of the service at the funeral home.
