Donna (Cordiano) Hannick

Donna (Cordiano) Hannick, 61, of Palmyra, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Carolyn’s House, Hospice of Central Pennsylvania. Born Thursday, September 19, 1957 in Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of Dominick and Marie (Dahlen) Cordiano of Hummelstown, formerly of Clearfield, PA. Donna was the wife of John Jay Hannick who passed away in 2009.
Donna attended St. Francis School in Clearfield. She graduated from St. Mary’s College in South Bend, IN and earned her masters degree in education from the University of Scranton. Donna was a Math teacher at Palmyra High School. She was a member of Church of the Holy Spirit in Palmyra, and enjoyed gardening, traveling and cooking.
In addition to her parents, Donna is survived by two sons: John D. Hannick and wife Elizabeth of New York and Mark C. Hannick (Krystal Kenlan) of Harrisburg; a grandson Dominick J. Hannick, and a sister Theresa Paterniti and husband Charles of Erie, PA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at Church of the Holy Spirit, 300 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 at 3:00 PM. There will be no viewing. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until the time of service.
