Donald R. Torrence, Sr., of Elizabethtown, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 10, 2017 in Dauphin county. He was born Sunday, August 9, 1936 to the late Arthur F. and Helen (Schultz) Torrence. He is survived by his loving wife Bonnie M. (Fisher) Torrence.
He was a fan of not only pinochle but also collecting coins. Donald loved Nascar and the beauty of classic cars along with being a loyal member of the timing club. Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Donald is survived by 4 sons, Donald R. Torrence, Jr. and wife Kathy of Virginia, Frederick A. Torrence of Ephrata, Mark C. Torrence and wife Sue of Lititz, and Michael S. Torrence and wife Kathy of New Jersey; 3 daughters, Terri A. Lapp of Lititz, Wendy K. Tate of Elizabethtown, and Jody M. Sangrey and husband James of Millersville; 9 grandchildren; and a brother, Dale R. Torrence.
