Donald L. Stark

Donald L. Stark, 85, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born Tuesday, December 13, 1938 in Ephrata, he was the son of the late Leroy and Ruth (Aufferman) Stark. He was married 57 years to Carol A. (Moore) Stark.

Donald was a graduate of Blue Mountain Academy and earned his Bachelor’s degree from Elizabethtown College in 1961. He retired from Harley-Davidson, York, where he was employed as a financial manager. He also served six years in the US Army.

Donald collected antique tools and was a member of the Early American Industry Association and the Mid-West Tool Collectors Association. He volunteered as a baseball coach, as well as playing in an over 70 slow pitch softball league. A member of Abraham C. Treichler Lodge #682, F&AM, Elizabethtown, Donald held a strong belief in supporting his local community and small businesses. He most loved spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son Eric J. Stark and wife Rachael, two grandchildren: Joshua and Lydia, all of Elizabethtown; and two sisters: Nancy Lindberg and husband Steve of Lake George, CO, and Shirley Jones and husband Ben of Keene, TX.
