Donald Lee Ripple

Donald L. Ripple, 78, of Annville, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born Tuesday, December 28, 1937, he was the son of the late Frederick and Gertrude (Rutter) Ripple. He was married 57 years to Donna K. (Snyder) Ripple who died in June 2012.
Donald retired in the early 1990’s from Kraft Foods in Palmyra, where he was employed as a mechanic. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed traveling in his RV and was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed working with computers and tinkering with different projects.
He is survived by three daughters: Cathy J., wife of Steve Shifflett of Lebanon; Tammy M. Deimler of Annville and Dawn R. Ripple of Harrisburg; six grandchildren: Mandy Keller, Justin Keller, married to Val, Courtney Shifflett, Frederick Deimler and, Michele and Montrell Wilkerson of Harrisburg; six great grandchildren: Gavin, Bryce, Tyler, Nekea, and Trevon Keller, and Sierra Miller; a great great granddaughter Aaliyaa Keller; and two sisters: Dorthea Parsons and Nancy Gibson.
Donald was predeceased by three brothers: Bob, Gene and Fred Ripple.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra at 11:00 AM. There will be no viewing. Family visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
