Dolores M. (Smith) Koser

Dolores M. (Smith) Koser, 84, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2015 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. She was born Tuesday, September 16, 1930 in Lancaster to the late Lloyd F. and Josephine (McFarland) Smith. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 34 years, Guy M. Koser.

She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church and of the American Legion Post #197 Ladies Auxiliary. Dolores was an avid Bingo and card player, she enjoyed spending time with her friends drinking coffee. Most importantly she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by 2 sons, Michael C. Koser and wife Marilyn of Niceville, FL and Brian D. Koser and wife Sabrina of Mt. Joy; a daughter, Elizabeth M. Heintzelman and husband Steven of Grantville; 6 granddaughters; 2 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Hockenberry of Elizabethtown. She was predeceased by a brother, Lloyd Smith.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 31st at 2 PM at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 106 N. 2nd St., Bainbridge 17502 with Rev. Emily E. Styer officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 1 PM until time of the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown 17022.
