Dianna J. (Webster) Borrell
October 15, 1944 — July 5, 2023
Dianna J. Borrell of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on July 5, 2023 at the age of 78. Born in Oberlin, Pennsylvania in 1944, Dianna was the daughter of the late Daniel & Anna S. (Enney) Webster. She graduated from Central Dauphin High School in 1962 and began working in the Pennsylvania State Capitol for over 30 years. She spent most of her career as a senior administrative assistant for the late Senator Edwin G. Holl.
Dianna was married in 1966 to Wm. Larry Borrell for more than 54 years until his death in 2020. She was a proud and devoted mother to her daughter Stacy and enjoyed every minute of her time as grandmother to David and Ava who lovingly referred to her as “Grammy.”
Dianna enjoyed hosting family meals, taking trips to the shore, organizing holiday gatherings, following the Phillies and the Eagles, and attending musical and theatre performances by her grandchildren. She cherished her friends and neighbors and spent many years with her Card Club and the Lancaster County Corvette Club. She was an active member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania for more than 50 years. She resided at Masonic Village and was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Elizabethtown.
She is survived by her daughter: Stacy Graff (David); grandchildren: David and Ava Graff. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Wm. Larry Borrell; son, Shane Borrell; siblings: Daniel “Butch” Webster, Marjorie Shank, and Walter Webster.
The family would like to extend a very gracious and heartfelt thank you to all the medical professionals, social workers, caregivers, pastors, chaplains, and friends who supported Dianna and her family during their time of need.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dianna’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or St. Paul’s United Methodist Church of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania.
A visitation will be held Thursday July 13, 2023, from 10:00 AM with services to follow at 11:00 AM at Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church. 398 N Locust Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
Graveside services will be held at the Mt. Tunnel Cemetery in Elizabethtown.
