Diana Meredith Ziegler

Diana Meredith Ziegler, 25, died unexpectedly on Friday, January 27, 2017. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Gerald Heilner II and the late Karen Heilner.

Having graduated from Elizabethtown Area High School in 2010 and subsequently from the HACC Nursing Program, she was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Dallastown, PA. While in school, Diana enjoyed participating in musical activities, singing, and playing the cello for many school productions. She was a member of Christ Church United Church of Christ and sang in the youth choirs there, as well. She was especially fond of children, and a devoted mother.

Diana is survived by her husband John, her son John Daniel (affectionately known as “JD”), her father Gerald and his wife Lisa, and her grandparents.

A celebration of Diana’s life will be held at 1:00 on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Christ Church United Church of Christ, 247 S. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022 with Reverend Dr. Galen E. Russell III and Reverend Dr. Frederick A. Young officating. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church from 11:30 until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made out to Christ Church at the address above, marked “Diana Ziegler Memorial”, to benefit the future education of Diana’s son, John Daniel Ziegler IV.
