Dennis "Denny" Charles Applebury

Dennis “Denny” Charles Applebury, 75, of Steelton, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at the UPMC Harrisburg.  He was born Sunday, December 1, 1946 to the late Royce and Catherine (Bixler) Applebury.  He is survived by five children, four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Denny was a proud graduate of John Harris High and was an outstanding multi-sport athlete for the Pioneers.  He played running back for the football team that went undefeated his entire four year high school career.  After high school graduation he attended Taft Junior College in CA and graduated from Washington University.  He was a successful salesman, from PA to FL, in the automotive industry.  His charm, character and smile would light up a room.  He will be dearly missed.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 31st from Noon to 2 PM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
