DENNIS G. KNAPP

Dennis G. Knapp, 64, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2014.

He was born on January 10, 1950 in Lebanon to the late Richard G. & Marian (Muth) Knapp.

Dennis was a United States Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He had worked at Wenger’s Feed Mill and retired as a veterinary lab technician from the University of Pennsylvania.

He was a member of the Lebanon Corvette Club, a member and past commander of the Mt. Joy VFW and a volunteer at the Antique Automobile & Classic Car Museum in Hershey. He was a car buff and adored his grandson Dylan.

Surviving are two daughters Sara E. Johnson and her husband Scott of Marietta, Amy M. Kennedy and her husband Butch of Mt. Joy, three grandchildren Dylan Johnson, Kirsten Kennedy, Kayla Kennedy, a sister, a niece and a nephew. He was preceded in death by a grandson Ethan.

A visitation will be held from 6pm until 7pm on Thursday, January 23, 2014 in the Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory of Elizabethtown. www.millerfuneralhome.com .
