Deborah "Debbie" Weleski

Deborah “Debbie” L. (Gamble) Weleski 69, of Elizabethtown, passed peacefully at home on November 24th, 2023 after a brief illness. Born May 20th, 1954 in Butler, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Mark Gamble and Theresa (Russo) Gamble. She was the proud wife of the late Dennis M. Weleski who proceeded her in death on April 30th, 2022.

Debbie, was employed by the Elizabethtown Area School District for over 25 years until her retirement, she loved her job in the library and was always so proud of all her students over the years, and her co-workers who many became lifelong friends. She always stated her biggest accomplishment in life was her family, as she was a loving wife, wonderful mother, and the best grandmother to her three grandchildren and her great grandson. Aside from spending as much time as possible with her family, She enjoyed traveling with her husband Dennis.

She is survived by her daughter Alicia (Weleski) Erdman, wife of Troy Erdman of Elizabethtown. Also, surviving is her grandchildren, Kaelyn Weleski, wife of Megan Hoffman-Weleski, Brady Erdman, Kendall Erdman, and great grandson Archer Weleski. She is also survived by her sisters and their spouses, Cindy (Ted) Ziegenfus, Darlene (Randy) Werhnyak, and Terri Angiolieri. And numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband Dennis, she is proceeded in death by her son Mark Weleski.

A celebration of life for Debbie will be held on March 9th, 2024 at the Marietta Community House.
