David A. Showers

David Alan Showers, 59, of Palmyra, passed away with his wife by his side on Friday, April 5, 2013 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. He was born Saturday, September 5, 1953 in Lykens to Robert A. and Betty L. (Thompson) Showers. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Faith H. (Venema) Showers.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Jacob D. Showers and wife Elaine Durham of Mechanicsburg; a daughter, Rachel F. Searfass and husband David of Ambler; a granddaughter, Kailey R. Grauel of Mechanicsburg; and a sister, DeAnn M. Showers of Harrisburg.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 10th at 11 AM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078, with Rev. Omar Zook officiating. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 10 AM until time of the service. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
