David E. Rambler, 73, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2014 at Spring Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Harrisburg.

He was born on Monday, August 18, 1941 in Manheim, PA to the late Victor & Mabel (Williams) Rambler.

Dave attended Bossler Mennonite Church, Elizabethtown, and was a life member of Elstonville Sportsman’s Club & Dela Ches Fishing Association.

He retired from School Specialties, but during his life held many various and varied occupations, he was a “Jack of all trades”.

Dave enjoyed woodworking and loved to go to the Mount Joy Diner to meet and trade stories with his friends.

Surviving are his wife Donna J. (Bortner) Shuman Rambler, a daughter Cindy D. Richwine (Roger) of Newville, three sons Stephen D. Rambler (Diana) of Wrightsville, Jeffrey M. Rambler (Tracy Ashman) of Newville, Brandon Rambler (Krystal) of Mount Joy, a stepson Kenneth E. Shuman (Angela) of Palmyra, a sister Dorothy Hartman (Ronald) of Manheim, a brother Daniel Rambler (Winifred) of Leola, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Wayne Rambler and a brother Paul Rambler.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
