David H. Eshleman, Jr.
August 29, 1928 — January 23, 2021
David H. Eshleman, Jr., 92, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. He was born Wednesday, August 29, 1928 to the late David H. Sr., and Violet E. (Baker) Eshleman. He is predeceased by his wife Louise J. (Imes) Eshleman.
He is survived by his daughter: Jan Hahn and husband Michael; grandson, Justin Hahn and fiancée Elyse Rider. He is predeceased by his brother John Eshleman.
David was a member of the Prince Edwin Masonic Lodge in Middletown, PA for more than sixty years, a past master and served as the treasurer for 31 years. He was a member of the Harrisburg Consistory, Zembo Shrine, and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon #43. David was a member of the Middletown Lions Club for nearly 70 years, a recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellowship and served as treasurer for the majority of that time. He was also on the board of directors for Homestead Savings and Loan. David was a devoted member of his church, Evangelical United Methodist Church, where he was a longtime faithful treasurer.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family and burial will take place at Middletown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to his church, Evangelical United Methodist Church, 157 E. Water St., Middletown, PA 17057.
