Darleen F. (Kaylor) Pfeiffer

Darleen F. (Kaylor) Pfeiffer, 92, of Landisville, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 11, 2025 with family by her side. Born Wednesday, August 24, 1932 in Campbelltown, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Violet (Michael) Kaylor. She was married to Robert L. Pfeiffer, Sr., who passed away in September 2020.

Darleen was a member of St. John Episcopal Church, Lancaster. She worked at RCA for 26 years. An LPN, she worked at Masonic Village, Lancashire Hall and, additionally in some home healthcare. Darleen also worked for Costco as a demonstration server. She loved to cook and dance, enjoyed playing cards and bowling, as well as going on bus trips with friends. Darleen was also a member of the American Business Women’s Association.

Surviving are two children, Mitzie Fidler and Jeffrey Steffes; three step-children, Vickie Smith, James Pfeiffer and Brian Pfeiffer; two grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and a brother Kenneth Kaylor. She was predeceased by a step-son Robert Pfeiffer, Jr., siblings Benjamin, Jr., Paul, Stearl, Donald and Denny Kaylor and a great granddaughter Rylee Herr.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 19th at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited for viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place in Goods Mennonite Cemetery.
