Dana C. Elliott

Dana Carol Elliott, 59, of Marietta passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Sunday, July 1, 2018. Born in Lancaster she was the daughter of Carl R. Elliott, Sr., and the late Joanne (Nixon) Elliott.

Dana worked as the East coast regional manager of human resources for AAA. She was skilled at professional writing, and friends would seek her help with writing their resumes and other professional advice. Dana was an Eagles fan until the end! She was an active church member and President of the Missionary Society, and was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star. Later in life she lost her eyesight, but that never stopped her from enjoying her life and everyone in it. Family or not, she was known to all as Aunt Dana, and could put a smile on anyone’s face.

In addition to her father, Dana is survived by Bryan Martin, three siblings: Adrienne Waters & husband Phil of FL, Charles Elliott of Lancaster, and Marc Elliott & wife Anita of Mountville, and sister-in-law Loretta F. Elliott, nieces and nephews: Ryan Waters, Brie Waters, Aisha Lee, Brandon Elliott, and Veronica Meadows.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1PM on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Bethel AME Church, 128 W. Fairview Ave., Marietta, PA 17547. There will be a time to visit with the family following the service.
