Cynthia Ann “Cindy” (Duck) Eckman, 62, of Marietta, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 9, 2019, surrounded by her loving family at Lancaster General Hospital. Born Sunday, March 10, 1957 in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of Eugene Duck and the late Manon (Shaffer) Duck. She was married to the late Robert A. “Bob” Eckman.
She is survived by her father, Eugene, of Elizabethtown and two siblings, Sandy K. Winters, married to Bruce, of Elizabethtown and Danny E. Duck, married to Janet, of Hershey. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews as well as Cindy’s extended family and caring friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the Smedley-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 29 North Gay Street, Marietta, PA 17547, 717-426-3614. There will be no viewing. A time of visitation will be held instead from 10 AM until the time of the service on Thursday. A Celebration of Life will follow at the American Legion in Marietta. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
