Connie E. (Hoffman) Strickler

Connie E. Hoffman Strickler, 66, of Elizabethtown, PA, went home to be with her loving Lord unexpectedly on Friday, August 17, 2012.  She was the daughter of Laura (Turner) Hoffman and the late Clair H. Hoffman, and the wife of Christian N. Strickler.
Surviving are her three children, Angi, wife of Todd Grumbine; Eric, husband of Kim (Haines) Strickler; and Shannon Singh. She was the beloved "MawMaw" to her four grandchildren.  She is also survived by a brother, Dr. Lynn Hoffman, husband of Nancy (Kurtz) Hoffman.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alicia, and a sister, Jean Bauman.
She retired from the Hershey Medical Center where she worked for 18 years, and was employed by Transport for Christ. She was an active participant in music ministries at Elizabethtown Brethren in Christ Church where, she faithfully attended.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, August 25 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market Street, Elizabethtown.  Services will be held Sunday, August 26 at 3:00 PM, with a viewing at 2:00 PM at the Elizabethtown Brethren in Christ Church, 996 E. High Street, Elizabethtown.  Interment is at the convenience of the family.
