Clifford Allen Drescher

Clifford Allen Drescher, 89, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at his home. Born in Elizabethtown, he was the son of the late Luther A. and Stella Mae (Bixler) Drescher. He was the husband of Helen E. (Helsley) Drescher of Elizabethtown.
Mr. Drescher attended the Elizabethtown First Church of God. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII and was a member of Abraham C. Treichler Lodge #682, F&AM, Elizabethtown. Clifford was employed by Mumper’s Dairy for over 17 years and was retired from the former AMP, Inc., Elizabethtown.
He was an avid Penn State, Phillies, Eagles and Elizabethtown Football fan.
In addition to his wife Helen, he is survived by three sons: Ronald L. (Theresa) Drescher, New Jersey; John R. (Brenda) Drescher, Elizabethtown and Don A. (Violet) Drescher, Oregon; seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; a sister, Shirley (Richard) Price, and two brothers: Charles (Orpha) Drescher and Dick Drescher.
Clifford was preceded in death by a son Clifford A. Drescher, Jr., a sister Janice Brown, and two brothers Luther and Carl Drescher.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the First Church of God, 144 South Market Street, Elizabethtown at 11:00 AM. There will be no viewing. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at a luncheon in the church fellowship hall.
