Clayton W. Reesor

Clayton W. Reesor, 92, formerly of Rheems passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 at the home of his daughter. He was born in Lebanon County on August 22, 1921, son of the late Fannie and Hoffer Reesor.
Clayton was a fifty year member of Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church of Elizabethtown. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose and a life member of Elizabethtown Beagle Club. He retired from International Union of Operating Engineers – Local #542. He enjoyed going to the mountains and watching wildlife, watching sports on television and working on word search books. He was married to the late Fern (Hoerner) for fifty years.
He is survived by two children: Hope wife of Nevin Hiestand, Elizabethtown and Perry, married to Linda (Boyer) Reesor of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Martha Miller (wife of late David H.), Lititz; Helen (wife of Mahlon Messick), Middletown; Effie (wife of James Brandt) Middletown; two brothers: Howard (husband of Ruth) Palmyra, Elmer (husband of Ruby) British Columbia Canada; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Clayton was preceded in death by a son Greg Reesor and a sister Esther (wife of late Vince Engle).
We wish to give thanks to Hospice and Dr. Jeffery Rittenhouse for the wonderful care given in his last days of life.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
