Clair Gingrich Good, 79, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Monday, June 3, 2013. He was born on Saturday March 3, 1934 in Mastersonville to the late Paul R. and Annie (Gingrich) Good. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Ruth E. (Garrison) Good.

Clair started as an entrepreneur at the age of 12 with poultry farming, he later transitioned to the tobacco industry, and finally into real estate. He was a hard worker, but considered his work a hobby. He was a member of the Hershey Partnership in travel and tourism. Clair proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a faithful member of Palmyra First United Methodist Church. He was an avid Winross collector and a devoted fan of blue-grass and gospel music. Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters, Kathy L. Becker and husband Stephen, Karen M. Lynch and husband Brian; 2 sons, Michael S. Good and wife Melody, David Clair Good and wife Jill; 9 grandchildren, Kyle, Hayden, and Logan Becker, Braeden Lynch, Amanda Smith-Morse, Jordon and Tyler Good, and Austin and Connor Good; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Carl and Jerry Good; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Glenn Good.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 10th at 11 AM at Palmyra First United Methodist Church, 520 E. Birch St., Palmyra, PA, 17078 with Pastor David Harris and Rev. Leroy Bomgardner officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Annville. Family and friends are invited for viewing on Sunday, June 9th from 6-8 PM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra and on Monday, June 10th from 10 AM until time of services at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, PO Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033 or to Department of Good Samaritan Hospital and Hospice, PO Box 1281, 1503 Quentin Rd, Lebanon, PA 17042, please indicate hospice designation on memorial contributions.
