Christine (Reichelderfer) Yon

Christine Yon, 76, of Palmyra, formerly of Hummelstown, passed away peacefully and painlessly on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at MS Hershey Medical Center, surrounded by her children. Born in Columbus, OH to the late Howard F. and Faye (Pastor) Reichelderfer, into a military family.

Christine lived all over the US and the world. She graduated from Palmyra High School in 1964. She worked for the H.B. Reese Candy Co. until her retirement in 2009. She then worked for Weiss market store in Hummelstown until 2020.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Yon, Jr. She is survived by her children: Pamela Warlow of Hummelstown, PA, Veronica Warlow Stevens of Washington, DC, Roy Warlow, III of Philipsburgh, PA, and Travis Warlow of Palmyra, PA; sister, Gail Broda of Hummelstown, PA; brothers, Ronald Reichelderfer of Virginia Beach, VA, and Louis Reichelderfer of New Cumberland, PA; and 9 grandchildren.

She was devoted to her family and did not hesitate to include the people she met along the way into that category. She was loved and cherished by everyone who knew her.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 9:30AM at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078.  A time of sharing will be held at 11AM. Burial will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
