Christine A. (Dardeen) Miller

Christine Alvina (Dardeen) Miller, 90, of Palmyra, passed away with family by her side on December 9, 2015 in the Harrisburg Hospital.  She was born March 7, 1925 in Mount Carmel, IL to the late Walter and Rosa (Letner) Dardeen.  She is survived by her loving husband of 77 years Clair Austin Miller.

Christine was the bookkeeper and helped in various ways for Clair’s Auto Repair.  She was a volunteer driver for the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home.  She was an active member of Annville Church of the Brethren, where she taught Sunday School, worked in the kitchen, and folded the Sunday bulletin.  Christine was an avid bowler and most importantly a loving wife, mother, sister, and aunt.

She is survived by a sister, Rose A. Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a son, Reed Austin Miller; and a sister, Edna M. Coomer.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 11 AM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078.  Family and friends are invited for viewing from 10 AM until time of the service.  Burial will follow the service in the Palmyra Cemetery, Palmyra.
