Charles Hallman, 90, of Hershey, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 8, 2022. He was born Wednesday, December 16, 1931 to the late Paul and Carrie (Blouch) Hallman. He is predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy (Copenhaver) Hallman.

Charles was a proud Navy Veteran from 1952-1956 serving on the USS Intrepid. He then went on to work at Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Co. for 43 years, he was the owner of the Hallman Restaurant for 25 years. After retirement he worked at the Manheim Auto Auction for 20 years. In addition to work he was a proud coach for the Hershey Youth Hockey Assoc. (Jr. Bears) and also served on their board and coached for 15 years. In 1976 he was the first coach to win the Quebec Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge (Brownstone) since 1970. He enjoyed spending time with family, attending his grandchildren’s youth events, attending college sporting events, and traveling specifically to Disney, the Jersey Shore, Maine, Myrtle Beach, Alaska, and Quebec City.

He is survived by his children: Steven C. Hallman, Lorraine Wise, and Michael Hallman and wife Francine; grandchildren, seven; and great-grandchildren, seven. He is predeceased by his siblings: Mary Hoerner, William Hallman, Paul Hallman, Jr., Harold Hallman, and Wilbur Hallman.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 19th 2022 at 10:30 AM at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. A time of viewing will be held from 9 AM until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park, Annville.
