Charles T. Conard

Charles T. Conard, 79, of Manheim, formerly of Wilmington, DE, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born Tuesday, September 19, 1944 in West Chester, PA, he was the son of the late William F. and E. Catherine (Faldon) Conard. He was married 59 years to Juliet C. (Marchegiani) Conard.

Charles was a 1962 graduate of Media High School. He worked 30 years for General Motors as an assembler. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Mount Joy, PA. He was formerly involved with S.O.W.E.R.S Helps Ministry. Charles enjoyed old movies, word games on his phone and jigsaw puzzles. He and his wife loved to travel and enjoyed over 20 years of fulltime RV’ing.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three children: Melinda French, Keith Conard (Myong Suk) and Jeremy Conard (Anne); nine grandchildren: Gin He Conard, Joshua French (Sarah), Everett French (Laura), Kyong Su Conard, Brian French (Koralys), Min He Anderson (Ryan), Hannah Conard, Emily Conard and Nathanael Conard; and siblings: Carol Croxton (Linwood); William F. Conard, Jr. (Elsa) and Eva Callaway (Paul). He was predeceased by a brother John Conard and a sister Betty Shortlidge.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with family at Fellowship Baptist Church, 151 Orange Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552, on Saturday, February 24th at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Gracelawn Memorial Park in New Castle, DE.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Charles’ memory may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church.
