Carol L. Kurash

Carol L. Kurash, 74, of Palmyra, died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at Hershey Medical Center on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late George Gutekunst and Arlene (Neubauer) Frantz.

Carol worked as a medical transcriptionist for 47 years. She enjoyed watching old TV shows and being in the comfort of her home surrounded by the people that she loved the most, especially her grandchildren. As a mother, grandmother, and friend, Carol was the perfect definition of unconditional love.

She is survived by her son, Christopher Kurash of Palmyra, daughter, Kara Kurash of Dallastown, nine grandchildren, siblings: Judy Snyder, Kathy Remaley, Sharon Romberger, and Diane Fink, stepsister, Cheryl Kneiss, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Carol was predeceased by two sons, Jon and Michael Kurash, and stepbrother, David Frantz.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
