Carl V. Morris

Carl Vincent Morris, 79, of Bainbridge, passed away on Saturday,
September 1, 2012 at the Middletown Home. Born in Palmyra, he was the
son of the late James A. and Ruth Ann (Haag) Morris. He was the husband
of Maria H. (Klaassen) Morris of Bainbridge.
Carl was a graduate of Elizabethtown High School. He attended
Elizabethtown College and served in the US Army during the Korean
Conflict. Carl was a self employed butcher. He was an avid reader of
the Bible and was a huge sports fan.
Surviving in addition to his wife Maria, are seven children: Don
Morris, Texas; Craig Morris, Lady Lake FL; Tina Morris, Hershey;
Dwayne Morris, Hershey; Christina Morris, Mount Joy; John, husband of
Julie Censier Morris, Elizabethtown and Keith, husband of Jodie Snyder
Morris, Bainbridge; 13 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; nine
siblings: Anna Mae, wife of Kenny Ebersole; Rita, wife of Jack Brandt;
Joyce, wife of Earl Strickler; Jackie, wife of Herb Strickler; Linda
Greenberger; Kathy Brubaker; Eugene, husband of Jean Morris; Garry,
husband of Debra Morris and James Morris.
Viewing will take place on Thursday at Miller/Sekely Funeral Home &
Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown from 6:00-7:30 PM. A
Time of Remembrance will follow at 7:30 PM. Interment will be held at
the convenience of the family.
