Captain Frederick E. Daubenspeck, Ret. USMC

Captain Frederick Earl Daubenspeck, Ret. USMC, 82, of Hershey, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, August 11, 2016.  He was born Wednesday, January 17, 1934 in Schuylkill Haven to the late Harold and Anna (Reiff) Daubenspeck.  He was predeceased by his loving wife Anna Mae (Meredith) Daubenspeck.

He is survived by a daughter, Jackie Pearson and husband Denny; 4 sons, Kirk Daubenspeck and wife Mary, Frederick E. Daubenspeck, Jr., Harold “Todd” Daubenspeck and wife Cheryl, and Walt Daubenspeck and wife Jodi; 2 grandchildren; and 2 siblings, Robert and Grace.  He was predeceased by a grandchild and a brother.

Frederick was a good husband and a great father who will be sadly missed.  He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Following his military service he worked as the Township Manager for South Londonderry Township, but he was a Marine till the end.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc..
