Bruce H. Stone

Bruce H. Stone, 83, of Elizabethtown, died on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Blanche (Hipple) Stone. He was the husband of Marie (Comp) Stone of Elizabethtown.
Bruce was employed for 31 years as a mason/bricklayer for Bethlehem Steel. A nature lover, he enjoyed telling stories, talking politics and reading the newspaper. Bruce was also a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
In addition to his wife Marie, he is survived by a son Bruce J. Stone of Manheim; two daughters: Sherry Hostetter (Scott) of Elizabethtown and Patricia Arndt (Roger) of Hummelstown; step-children: Sharon Kunkle of Mount Joy, Doris Drace of Manheim, Judy Graham of Mountville, Darlene Zink of Elizabethtown, Clyde Kunkle of Ohio and Sherry Valle of Mount Joy; a sister Jean Shepler of Elizabethtown; 28 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sara E. (Childree) Stone who died in 1988.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Miller/Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown at 11:00 AM. Friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia.
