Brian S. Single

Brian S. Single, 60, of Elizabethtown passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Lancaster General Hospital. He was born on October 8, 1963, in Chicago to Beverly Single (Burr) and the late David Single. Brian's journey took him from the heart of the Midwest to the warmth of Texas before settling in Pennsylvania. After graduating from Hershey High School in 1981, Brian continued to pursue knowledge at Millersville, earning a bachelor’s degree in English. His professional journey led him to a successful career as a claims adjuster where he earned several professional certifications. Music was a constant companion in Brian's life. He was active in bands, including his own, during his high school years in Hershey.  He enjoyed a variety of music but especially enjoyed The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rush, and Van Halen. In addition to his dedication to music, Brian was an avid sports fan, particularly enjoying Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State football. He and his son, Cole, shared a special bond as season ticket holders of the Hershey Bears during their championship years in 2009 and 2010. Beyond his interests, Brian will be remembered for his passionate and giving soul. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories cherished by his loving wife of 30 years, Bronda Single (nee Byers), his son Cole Single, brothers Mark Single and his niece Payton, Craig Single (Liz) and nephews Andrew and Daniel. In celebrating Brian's life, we reflect on the beautiful melody he created through his family, career, and the music that will forever resonate in our hearts.

Services will be held Monday, February 12, 2024, at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory. 130 N Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. A visitation to start at 1:00 PM with a memorial service to follow.
