Bonita Susan Good, 66, of Elizabethtown, ran through the gates of Heaven to embrace her savior on January 4, 2025, following a 17-month battle with MDS related AML. Born on March 29, 1958, she was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Helen, and siblings, Dennis and Donna. She is survived by her son, Robert (wife, Bernadette) and daughter, Amanda (husband, Jeffrey) as well as 4 grandchildren, Mikhail, Morgan, Alaina and Ajay.

She was a dedicated worker up until the day her diagnosis forced her into retirement. She held various jobs throughout her life, most notably, Nordstrom, Harley Davidson, and Wyeth Labs.

In her spare time, she loved cheering on her grandchildren at their various sports, tending to her gardens (or as her kids lovingly referred to it: “The Jungle”), and creating stained glass masterpieces in her home. Throughout her oncology treatments she donated her glass cross creations to the community table at HMC for other cancer patients to help themselves to. She was a friend to anyone in need, the first to lend a helping hand, and she loved her neighbors. She was an avid lottery player and continued to play up until the day of her death because, “you just never know.” She also loved her silver Tacoma, affectionately calling it “Betts the Silver Fox”, and she loved making her house into a home with the help of her late brother.

When asked what she most looked forward to about Heaven, it was always reuniting with her family. Her kids and grandkids wish her the best family reunion and promise to laugh more than they cry when recalling their time with her. Her life will be celebrated privately, but the family asks all who knew and loved her to do their part to lift others up and do good deeds.
