Betty Lou (Reich) Nowlen, 85, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at ManorCare of Lebanon. She was born Tuesday, November 6, 1928 in Lebanon to the late John and Erma Reich. She was predeceased in 2009 by her loving husband, Paul E. Nowlen, Sr.
Betty retired from H.B. Reese Candy Company after many years of faithful service. She enjoyed the beauty of nature and the peace of watching wildlife, especially birds. She had a wonderful sense of humor and met everyone with a smile. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be missed by many.
She is survived by a loving son, Randy L. Nowlen and fiancé Pamela Woods of Palmyra; two grandsons, Sean P. Nowlen of Sunbury and Jeffrey Woods, Jr. She was predeceased by a son, Paul E. Nowlen, Jr. and a brother, Earl Reich.
