Betty J Lighty

Betty J. Lighty, 87, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 in Elizabethtown, PA. She was born February 15, 1939 to the late Albert and Pauline S. (Baker) Zink. She was predeceased by her loving husband John F. Lighty, Sr.

She was a dedicated and hard worker, she worked for QVC until she retired in 2003. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo, crafting, or watching game shows on TV. More than anything she was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Pauline Miller; grandchildren, Terry, Joshua, and Debra Miller; great granddaughter, Kaylee Miller; and brother Robert Zink. She is predeceased by her children, Lorna Lighty Gordner and John F. Lighty, Jr, and her siblings, Albert and Richard Zink, Norma Yarnell, and Janet Warner.

A viewing will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026 from 6 pm – 8 pm at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Marietta Cemetery, Marietta.
