Betty (Achenbach) Beam

Betty (Achenbach) Beam, 88, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully at Palmyra Health & Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, August 9, 2014. She was born to the late Kathryn (Achenbach) Fitting on Thursday, October 15, 1925 in Palmyra. She was predeceased by her loving husband C. Jack Beam, and her son Cory Jack Beam.
She graduated from Palmyra High School in 1943 and along with her husband, owned and operated Jacks Tavern in Palmyra. She loved her family and enjoyed making lasting memories with them.
She is survived by two daughters, Lindsay Fair and husband Bruce, and Janene Webber and husband Richard of Palmyra; four grandchildren, Troy Fair and wife Dana of Elizabethtown, Justin Fair and wife Susan of Palmyra, Nathan Fair and wife Ha of Palmyra, and Courtney Webber of Atlanta, GA; five great grandchildren, Ava, Lyla, Mia, Hudson, and Scarlett Fair.
Private burial in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra, with Rev. Dr. David Harris will take place at the convienence of the family.
