Bette Jane Taraschi

Bette Jane Taraschi, 69, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 29, 2020 in Harrisburg. She was born Saturday, September 15, 1951 to the late Edger L. and Mary C. (Yohn) Shoemaker. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Michael Taraschi.
Bette was a member of the Palmyra VFW, Post 6417, the Auxiliary American Legion, #72, and the Local Chocolate Workers Union. In her spare time she enjoyed playing darts and bowling. Most importantly she was a loving aunt and great aunt.
She is survived by her step children: Nicholas A. Taraschi and wife Shelby and Peter M. Taraschi; step grandchildren; sisters, Darlene Painter of Steelton and Linda Cassell of Camp Hill; several nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 11AM at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. A viewing will be held from 10AM until the start of the service and also on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 5-7PM. Burial will follow the service on Saturday at Hershey Cemetery, Hershey. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
