BERTHA E. GIPE
Bertha E. Gipe, 83, formerly of Elizabethtown, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2014 at Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Harrisburg.
She was born on September 3, 1930 in Elizabethtown to the late Harry A. & Florence E. (Stoudt) Gipe.
She was preceded in death by a sister Gladys Patrick, three brothers Sonny, Bill and Ken Gipe.
She worked as seamstress in the garment industry.
Bertha was a member of the Londonderry Lioness Club, and a pinochle card club.
She enjoyed sewing, needlework, watching westerns.
Surviving are a brother Richard S. Gipe of Hummelstown, two sisters Ellen G. Alwine of Palmyra, June K. Baughman of Lower Swatara Township and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2pm on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory of Elizabethtown.
Visitation will be from 1pm until 2pm on Thursday in the funeral home.
