Bernice Grace (Rasp) Johnson
August 1, 1925 — July 29, 2016
Bernice G. Johnson, 90, of Abbottstown, formerly of Hummelstown and Palmyra, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 at her home. Born Saturday, August 1, 1925 in Annville, she was the daughter of the late John Rasp and Mary (Miller) Rasp Stoudt. She was the wife of the late Russell Johnson.
Bernice enjoyed be involved with the East Berlin Senior Center.
She is survived by a daughter Sandra F.-R. Walsh and her husband John of York; a granddaughter Jessica Martin and great grandson, Hunter Martin of Abbottstown; three step-grandchildren: Cherilyn, Rhiannon and Jonathan Walsh; a brother Clifford Rasp and a sister Mildred Stuck.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her first husband C. Leon Rogers and a daughter Joanne Rogers.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra at 11:00 AM. Viewing will be from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
