Bernard C. Kenny, 95, of Hershey, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 23, 1929 in Harmony Township to the late Francis J. and Barbara (Kroker) Kenny. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Doris “Babe” (Hanlon) Kenny.

Bernard was a proud Army Veteran. He served as an Army Sgt. During the Korean War era. He was a member of the VFW and Baden American Legion and retired as a Postal Inspector in 1986. After retirement from the Postal Inspection Service, he was a Police Fire Arms Instructor at Allegheny County Police Academy and at the Community College of Beaver County.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Therese Krokonko (William), Joseph Kenny (Holly), and Marlene Kenny (Denise); grandchildren, Natasha, Seth, Alexis, Hillary, Ethan, Olivia, Lindsey, and Alex; great grandchildren, Avery, Carson, Marie, Cecilia, Corbin; and siblings, Robert, William (Doris), and Raymond (Hilda) Kenny, and Eleanor Springer; special friends including Robin and Jeff Barrett of Tennessee. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings, Barbara Lois Fitzpatrick and Richard Kenny.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 5pm – 7pm at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. A second viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 9:30am – 11:30am at the Funeral Home with Mass following at 12:00pm at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 300 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. Burial will be held with full military honors on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 10:30am at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
