Barbara Louise (Wilson) Hoover

Barbara Louise (Wilson) Hoover, 61, of Palmyra, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.  She was born Wednesday, August 30, 1961 in Hershey to the late William and Joanne (Hand) Wilson.  She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Scott Alan Hoover.

She spent her life dedicated to her family, friends and those in need.  She always put others first by giving of her time, gifts and talents.  Her grandchildren were her greatest pride and joy.  Her gifts of candy, friendly smile and helping hand will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by two daughters, Heather M. Warihay and husband Robert of Manheim, and Amanda J. Hilsher and husband Jeremy of Columbia; five grandchildren, Grayson, Peyton, Brayden, Cayden, and Paisley; three siblings, Carol Gordon, Patricia DeRemer, and Kenneth Wilson; three loyal pets, Fiona, Oscar and Kitters.  She was predeceased by a grandson, Colton; five siblings, Vicki Wilson, Nanette Ristenbatt, William Wilson, Denise Kelly, and Natalie Kline.

A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, June 22nd at 11:30AM in the Hershey Cemetery with Chaplain Jim Smith officiating.  Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 has been entrusted with the arrangements.
