Barbara (Hirs) Geib
November 28, 1931 — August 5, 2012
She retired from Reese’s where she worked in the cupping department. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed working in her garden.
She is survived by three children, Tommis Carpenter of Waynesboro and his children TJ, Chris, and Kyle, and Siglinda Kreiser of Annville and her children Pete and JC, and Freddy R. Geib and wife Cathy of Palmyra and their daughters Chyna and Chelsey Geib.
Family and friends are invited for viewing on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 10 to 11 AM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078. A graveside service will be held at 11:15 AM where she will be laid to rest next to the man who loved her the longest, her ex husband, Frederick D. Geib, in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
