Eli Mitchell Eisenhour, aged 4 days, passed peacefully from the hands of his mother and father into the hands of Jesus on April 8, 2016 at 1:06am at Hershey Medical Center. He was born at 3:05am on April 4th. Eli is the only son of Ryan and Katelyn Eisenhour of Hershey. He was a miracle from heaven after 5 long years of unexplained infertility and will be remembered for his spunky personality even while in the NICU and his little pranks he would pull on his nurses and parents. There will never be another child that was loved more by his parents and family so much as our sweet baby boy. He went to be with his Lord Jesus and Heavenly maker after spending his last few hours holding his mommy's finger, reading books and being prayed and loved over.
He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Kevin and Sharon Adams; paternal grandparents, Randy and Rita Eisenhour; maternal aunts and uncles, Jenna and Jeremy Peifer, Heather Witmer, Deron Witmer, Collette and Chris Jakubowicz and Bryan Adams. He is also survived by his paternal aunt and uncles, Courtney and Andrew Brakey and Austin Eisenhour. His Grandma Carol, Uncle Mitch, maternal and paternal great-grandparents were waiting to welcome him into heaven.
A celebration of life service will be held at Willow Street Mennonite Church, 399 East Penn Grant Road, Willow Street, PA on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 7:30pm. Visitation will follow the service on Tuesday. Private interment will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-367-1543. In lieu of flowers we would love for donations to be sent to the Ronald McDonald House of Hershey to support other parents and children who are served through the work of Hershey Medical Center- the same nurses and staff who took care of Eli like their own son during his short life. https://donate.rmhc.org/donate
