Austin F. "Buzz" Kraft

Austin F. “Buzz” Kraft, 86, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at the Hershey Medical Center. He was born Saturday, September 26, 1936 to the late Austin W. and Mary (Chermansky) Kraft. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Roberta M. (Cox) Kraft.
A proud Army Veteran, Austin was a graduate of the Milton Hershey School class of 1954, after graduation he was an alumni volunteer for many years. He served on the Board of Health for Palmyra for over 30 years and retired after 40 years from Hershey Foods Quality Assurance Department. In his spare time, he was an avid sports fan. More than anything he was a loving husband and father.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son: Austin “Buzzy” Jr., of New Hampshire. He is predeceased by his sisters, Janette Ward and Gladys Sanderson.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 27th, 2023 at noon at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078. A time of viewing will take place from 11AM until the start of the service. Burial will follow on Wednesday, June 28th, 2023 at 10 AM with full military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
