Ashley R. (Ober) Zipp

Ashley R. (Ober) Zipp, 40, of Bainbridge, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at her home in Conoy Township.  Born Wednesday, October 7, 1981, in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Philip C. and Lois M. (Halbleib) Ober.  She was married to Christopher D. Zipp on January 12, 2005.

Ashley served with the U.S. Army National Guard.  She also worked as a Registered Nurse at Hershey Medical Center.  She enjoyed softball, swimming, hiking, fishing, hunting, gardening, drawing, coloring, knitting, baking, but above all, spending time with her loving family.

In addition to her husband, Chris, she is survived by two children: Haley M. Zipp and David P. Zipp, all of Bainbridge.  Also surviving are her parents, Philip and Lois Ober, of Elizabethtown; a brother, Nathaniel P. Ober, married to Melissa, of Elizabethtown, as well as Ashley’s numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and caring friends.  She was preceded in death by an uncle, Harry Halbleib, Jr.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, January 3, 2022 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 398 North Locust Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1889 with the Reverend John P. Marcott officiating.  Interment will follow in Bainbridge Cemetery with military honors.  A viewing will be held at the church from 1 PM until the time of the service on Monday.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543
