She was the beloved wife of Russell Tyler Trimmer, who predeceased her in 1997.
She was a 1951 graduate of Mount Joy High School, where she played on the softball team. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, she was a successful businesswoman. She was a member of Christ UCC Church in Elizabethtown, where she sang in the choir for many years. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Elizabethtown Chapter #407. An avid sports fan, she especially loved following the Philadelphia Phillies on radio and TV.
