ARLENE M. OLINGER

Arlene M. Olinger, 81, formerly of Rheems, PA, entered into her eternal rest on Tuesday, July 22, 2014.

Born in Conoy Township in 1933 to the late Earl and Meryl (Martin) Heisey, she was the wife of the late Dale E. Olinger who died in 2003.

Arlene was a graduate of Elizabethtown High School. Through her life she was employed by the former Lehman’s Rest Home of Rheems. Subsequently she was employed with her husband in the ServiceMaster Cleaning Business for over 30 years.

She was a member of Mt. Calvary Church, Elizabethtown, where for many years she was part of the choir, taught Sunday School and was especially fond of participating in Rest Home Ministries, sponsored by the church.

She enjoyed her grandchildren, her garden, cooking, baking, crafts and floral arranging.

Surviving are a brother Martin Heisey and his wife Gloria of Conoy Twp., a daughter Judy Marley of Kentucky, a son Victor Olinger and his wife Thelma of Parkesburg, PA, three grandchildren Rebecca L. Charles and her husband Darren, Rachel M. Smoker and her husband Douglas and Brian R. Olinger. She was preceded in death by her sister Ethel J. Heisey.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Monday, July 28, 2014 in the Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St. Elizabethtown. Burial will be in Conoy Brethren in Christ Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1pm until 2pm on Monday in the funeral home.
