Arlene K. (Myers) Brubaker
April 15, 1926 — March 4, 2024
Arlene K. Brubaker, 97, of Londonderry Village, Palmyra, PA, went to heaven on Monday, March 4, 2024. She was born on April 15, 1926 in Lebanon County the first of eight children born to the late Benjamin B. and Fanny (Kreider) Myers. She is predeceased by her loving husband J. Harold Brubaker, since April 2006. They lived on a farm in Conewago Township, Dauphin County.
She was very active in the Lawn Evangelical Congregational Church in several ministries and capacities. She taught school in Conewago and surrounding townships both as a substitute teacher and a full-time teacher.
She is survived by a brother and three sisters, as well as two children: James S. Brubaker and Frederick H. Brubaker; three grandchildren, Amy R. Powley, Timothy S. Brubaker, and Elizabeth A. Hopeck; as well great and great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 11 AM at the Lawn Evangelical Congregational Church, 5566 Elizabethtown Rd., Lawn, PA 17041. Private burial will take place at Risser’s Mennonite Cemetery, Elizabethtown, PA.
