Arla Mae Rutherford, 80, of Mount Joy passed away surrounded by her family at her home on Thursday, April 9, 2015. She was born on Thursday, August 9, 1934 in Rohrerstown to the late Herman N. and Estella W. Brubaker. She was the wife of the late Lester B. Rutherford, Jr.
Arla was an industrial worker at Armstrong. In her free time she enjoyed being at the river, being with family, and the beach. She was a member of Mt. Joy Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Ramos, wife of Juan of New Holland, grandson Robert Fusselman Jr. companion of Sherry Beck of Lancaster, granddaughter Christina Adams, wife of James of Leola, and three great grandchildren, Brandon Rutherford of Leola, Ryan Adams of Leola, and Alyssa Beck of Lancaster, and brother Christian Brubaker of Buffalo, NY. Arla was preceded in death by a son Lester B. Rutherford III, four brothers, and one sister.
Private graveside services will be held at Good’s Mennonite Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown PA, 17022.
