Anthony "Tony" Lee Ecenrode

Anthony “Tony” Lee Ecenrode, 76, of Middletown, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at home. Born Wednesday, November 22, 1944 in Lincoln, PA, he was the son of the late George E. and Louella (Keller) Ecenrode. He was the husband of Ellen (Ortega) Ecenrode who passed away in July 2001.
A truck driver, Tony worked for 16 years at Fruehauf trailer and 16 years as a long hauler. He was a life member of Anglers and Hunters in Middletown and loved spending time with his family.
Tony is survived by a daughter Annette M. Shutt and husband Todd “Whitey” Shutt; four grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a sister Barbara Beatty of Mount Joy. He was predeceased by a son Anthony L. Ecenrode, II who passed away in July 2019; a brother Robert Ecenrode, and three sisters: Rose Fisher, Sylvia Secore and Jean Juan.
